Export Settings

  • Before:
    Export settings were the same across the entire workspace, affecting all reports.
  • After:
    Each report now has its own export settings that you can adjust and save individually, making them more flexible for different use cases.

    You had to pick the export format (CSV, XLS, or PDF) before deciding what data to export.
  • After:
    You’ll now first select the export style; either Spreadsheet (CSV/XLS) or Simple Timesheet (PDF), and then choose what data you want. This makes it clearer and faster to export the exact type of report you need.

    All exported data was combined into a single table.

    You can now export specific data breakdowns — like Client, Project, People, Teams, Tags, or Tasks — and Timely will automatically generate either:
    • Separate worksheets (if exporting to XLS)
    • Separate CSV files (if exporting a single breakdown)
