What's synced?

Timely syncs invoices, statuses, billable hours, and clients with QuickBooks. Paid or voided invoices update automatically, and invoiced hours are marked to prevent double billing. Clients sync on their first invoice, making future billing seamless. Taxes, discounts, and currency settings stay managed in QuickBooks. Deleted invoices in QuickBooks appear as "Voided" in Timely. This integration keeps everything accurate and hassle-free!

Invoices

Invoices created in Timely are sent to QuickBooks Online as drafts. Invoice details, including client, project, hours, and amounts, are synced.

Clients

The first time an invoice is sent from a client in Timely to QuickBooks, the client is synced. Future invoices for that client will automatically sync with QuickBooks..

Invoice Status Updates

Tasks created in ClickUp can be synched to Timely - and to ensure the two platforms stay in sync and time entries logged to imported Tasks will sync back to ClickUp 

Billable Hours

Once hours are included in an invoice, they are marked as "Billed via invoice" in Timely. Hours tied to an invoice cannot be included in another invoice unless the original invoice is voided.
